Kathy Kupka Kathy Kupka

Kathy Kupka lives in Leesburg, Virginia, and was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2001.

She’s a professional photographer who’s taken some amazing shots of people and their pets. One of her latest projects has been creating a video slideshow that tells her story using photos of her canine clients.

Kathy has also become a motivational speaker and plays the slideshow when she goes to talk to cancer support groups.

She has been under the care of Dr. Guido Tricot, a multiple myeloma specialist and the director of the Myeloma Program at Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center in Iowa.

Here’s a little taste of what she’s put together. The presentation is called “But There IS Treatment.”
